Dr Khin Yupar Kyaw

FOUNDER & Managing Director

Khin Yupar Kyaw is the Founder and managing director of Vantage Health Solutions. She leads overall strategy, focuses on building a remarkable team, develops partnerships, and makes sure we never lose sight that everything we do is to improve health of Myanmar people. Prior to Vantage Health Solutions, Yupar has worked with international nonprofit agencies in public health and civil society strengthening programs. She earned a Master of Health Policy from the University of Sydney; a M.B.,B.S from the University of Medicine 1, Yangon, and was an Australian Government scholar.

Dr Myo Myint Aung

Executive Director

(Strategy and Business Development)

Myo Myint Aung is the Executive Director of Vantage Health Solutions. In his role as Chief Strategy and Business Development Officer, he oversees the vision and execution of our work in strategy, impact evaluation and implementation science. The broad spectrum of his work is to ensure that policy change, high-quality service delivery, and research are integrated in interacting components of Vantage Health Solutions''s efforts at healthcare transformation. Myo received his M.B.,B.S from the University of Medicine, Magway; MBA from Portland State University, and MHA from University of Washington. He is a Fulbright Scholar.

Dr Khin Thawdar Shein

Executive Director

(Public Health)

Khin Thawdar Shein is the Executive Director of Vantage Health Solutions. With extensive background in health program development and management with a variety of non-governmental and UN organizations in Myanmar and border area, she has strong expertise in evaluation of different health programs. Her strength includes information management and development of internal monitoring and evaluation tools for public health programs. Moreover, she is keen on capacity building of staff and volunteers in technical skills such as M&E and behavior change communication. Thawdar holds a M.B.,B.S from University of Medicine 1, Yangon.

Dr Wai Lin Naing

Executive Director

Wai Lin Naing is the Executive Director of Vantage Health Solutions. He has extensive experience in marketing and sales of medical equipment and supplies. Wai Lin Naing holds a M.B.,B.S from University of Medicine 1, Yangon. He is a certified medical professional from the Australian Medical Council.

Dr Cynthie Tin Oo ( Sr. Consultant)

Dr Cynthie provides techical assistance in education, health and development sectors for local, national and international organizations in the United State and Myanmar. She focuses on program and organization development and management for organizations with programs in maternal and child health, HIV/AIDS, livelihood, early childhood and tertiary education. Most of her experiences has been in Myanmar, but Dr. Cynthie has professional Experiences in Thailand, Cambodia, Lao and Micronesia. She is fluent in Burmese, English and speaks basic Thai. She holds M.B.,B.S from University of Medicine (1), Yangon, received MPH from Mahidol University, Certificate ( International Health and behavioral Science and Health Education ) from Rollin School of Public Health of Emory University, USA and MPA from Harvard Kennedy School, USA.

DR HTOO HTOO KYAW SOE

Dr. Htoo Htoo Kyaw Soe is an Associate Professor in the Department of Community Medicine at Medical College in Malaysia. She has 7 years of experience in teaching concepts of epidemiology, research methodology and biostatistics to undergraduate and postgraduate students. She has also been appointed as statistician and has supervised various research projects including observational studies, diagnostic studies, clinical trials as well as medical education researches in the fields of medicine and dentistry. She has been working with experts from the Cochrane Review Groups, preparing systematic reviews for evidence-based health care. Her areas of expertise include basic and advanced statistical concepts, using SPSS for data processing & analysis, research ethics and good clinical practices. She holds a medical degree, M. B., B.S, from University of Medicine (1) in Myanmar, a Master of Public Health and PhD (Public Health) from Chulalongkorn University in Thailand.

Dr Tay Za Kyi Win

Dr Tay Za Kyi Win: Dr Tay Za has experienced public health professional with thorough expertise and skills in health policy, health program management and community health practice. Moreover, he has extensive experience in public health program management including HIV care and prevention, primary health care, Diabetes, Tuberculosis, malaria treatment and prevention in Myanmar and 5 years experienced in clinical and program management in HIV care and prevention, HIV-TB treatment and prevention. Moreover, he is strong background in monitoring, evaluation, quality assurance and need assessment of the health program including HIV, sexually transmitted infections, anti-tuberculosis program in resource poor setting in remote areas. Dr Tay Za hold an M.B.B.S in Myanmar and Master of public health from University of Texas, USA. He is a Fulbright scholar with fluent in Myanmar and English..

Dr Khaing Thandar Hinn

Dr Thandar is working as a freelance consultant for public health related projects. She has progressive experience on planning,implementation,monitoring, evaluation and budget management on HIV,TB and STI control in Myanmar. She worked as senior program coordinator at Save the Children in Myanmar (2011-2012). Save the Children is one of the designated principal recipients for Global Fund round 9 in Myanmar. Nineteen International Non Governmental Organisations are receiving funding as sub recipients for HIV, TB and Malaria treatment, prevention and control activities throughout Myanmar. Thandar worked for monitoring and evaluation of program activities, development of monitoring tools, budget and grant management for performance based funding mechanisms, providing technical assistance to sub recipients under HIV and TB grants. She worked as a medical officer (2008-2011) in Medecins Du Monde which is a French INGO targeting key affected populations for HIV and TB care and prevention services. Thandar holds Medical Degree from University of Medicine 2, Yangon, Myanmar and Master of Public Health (specialised in Health Program Evaluation) from University of Melbourne. She received Australia Awards Scholarship funded by Australian Government for her Master Studies. She is fluent in both English and Myanmar

Phone Thant , Data Management Consultant

Phone Thant is in charge of consolidate country wide information for planning, progress, monitoring and evaluation. He develops dashboard to collect and consolidate information from field using with VBA - MS Access and MS Excel.He has also good experience of SQL, MySQL, MS Access database and other programing language C#, Asp .net and PHP development for both web and window application.He develops the maps with use ArcGIS based on both the MIMU’ Shape Files and downloaded way points/track from GPS. Providing maps related with Project intervention. His experience includes coordinating with partners, monitoring and evaluating projects, providing technical support and then making suggestions for ways to make improvements. It also includes managing the development and design of all assessments, new staff and coordinating with the staff and preparing progress reports and monitoring and following the progress of proposals and projects.He has extensive knowledge of data quality control, data validations, statistical methods and IT applications. Phone Thant is now working for Save the Children as the post of Management Information System and GIS (MIS & GIS) Manager based in Yangon. He completed Bachelor Degree in Computer Science on 2005 that focused on logic, statics, mathematics and database development. He has six years of experience working in UN, INGOs and 3 years of experience working in Software and Database development.

Aye Lei Tun, Media and Gender Consultant

Aye Lei Tun is working as a freelance consultant for media and gender related projects. She completed her master program for Development Practice (Adv) at the University of Queensland, Australia in 2015, and Human Rights, Gender and Conflict Studies at the International Institute of Social Studies, Netherlands in 2016. She gained over 10 years working experiences as an Information and Communications Officer in the media and communications field of UN agencies, non-governmental organizations, and local papers. She involved in the Women’s Participation in Public Life and Decision Making Process study conducted by Oxfam in 2011 as a researcher. And her role as a Research Supervisor was remarkably achieved in the studies of “Institutional and Leadership Analysis” (2012) and “Sustainable Economy and Political Parties in Myanmar” (2013) – those projects were worked together with Enlightened Myanmar Research Foundation. Her own project, “Gender Representation for Development in Myanmar Media (2010-2014)” paper, was published by University of Hawaii in the Journal of Southeast Asian Studies for Spring 2016 issue. Currently, she is taking an initiative for the rights of women with disability with her recent study entitled “Experiences of intimate relationships: Women with impairment in Myanmar”. She is also a regular contributor to local weekly papers and magazines for gender related articles. She has a strong willingness to assist and coordinate in media and gender related studies and trainings as a trainer, consultant and researcher.
